Art Challenges Are Starting Up!

Heyo!  Yes, the staff is, indeed, alive!  Like dragons, internet moderators sometimes need to hibernate for a few decades to preserve our immortal radiance!  Now that I'm bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, I'm looking to start up some activity again, so how about periodic art prompts?  I can't promise a contest, because I would need to get prizes together for that, but at the end of each submission period, I'll feature the best work from the theme in a journal entry here in the group.  It'll be a fun way to challenge ourselves and show off our passion!

If you're interested, reply in the comments below with what prompts you'd like to see in the future, and whether you want the art prompts to be weekly, monthly, or bi-monthly.

If it's all the same to you, I'll start us off.  Dragons are mighty (and sometimes kawaii) beings, but they need to put a lot of effort into maintaining their beautiful selves.  So!  I want you to draw your dragon performing its daily hygiene, grooming, or cleaning routine (or being groomed by someone else). Fight that plaque!  Shine those scales!  Sweep those bones out of your lair! Dress yourself up to impress those lovely lady dragons!

Submit your entries to the Current Challenge folder, and once we've gotten a bunch and figured out how long we want these things to go, we'll feature our favorites in the journal and queue up a new theme!
